POLE SAW / PSH110U

PSH110U is designed with the concept of submergible pole saw. For easy handling underwater, full length is short. However, it has high torque because of Maruzen original motor mounted, it can provide stress-free cutting.

Other application than using underwater, it is used for orchard because of easy handling and high torque.

It is the most suitable product for sites where electric products can not be used such as typhoon or flood damage site.

*This is not insulated model. Do not use around electric cable.

HOW TO USE

Check and confirm if the oil flow and pressure of power source are suitable with the specifications of this tool. Wear appropriate safety equipment when operating this tool.

CONNECTION

  • Make sure that there are no dirt or dust on the couplers before connecting the tool and power source with extension hoses.
    Lock the couplers after connecting.
  • Start power source and open the oil circuit.

OPERATION

  • Grip the tool firmly with both hands.
  • Operate the tool in full rpm. (Grasp the control lever in full position.)
  • Always cut branches from the bottom so that branches on top falls down easily after cutting.
  •  When cutting a thick branch, cut it in several times.
  • Cut limbs or branches straight through.
  • DO NOT twist the saw chain during cutting.
  • Be careful of kickback, push back, or pull in when operating.
  • Ensure that no personnel is underneath the work area. The falling branch might hit the personal and cause injury. Be careful of the falling branch because it might bounce back hitting the ground.
  • Check the saw chain tension. The saw chain and guide bar get hot during operation. Always wear proper safety equipment during operation and check tension after saw chain and guide bar get cooled down.
  • When cutting a thick branch, cut it by following steps shown below. It can reduce the risk of kickback or getting a guide bar pinched in the branch.

AFTER OPERATION

  • After the operation, stop the power source.
  • Disconnect the extension hoses.
